The Tuscan summer comes alive with a rich series of concerts that attract fans from all over the world. Among the most anticipated events is the Lucca Summer Festival, which for years has been lighting up summer evenings in the picturesque setting of Piazza Napoleone in the heart of Lucca's historic center.
Since 1998, this festival has hosted an impressive array of world-class artists, from Bob Dylan to James Brown, Mark Knopfler to Jamiroquai, and Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Elton John, and Ennio Morricone. In 2017, the legendary Rolling Stones warmed up the main stage, followed in 2018 by Roger Waters and other international caliber artists such as Hollywood Vampires, Gorillaz, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Lenny Kravitz, and Queens of the Stone Age.
For the 2024 edition, the billboard looks equally eclectic and engaging:
A mix of genres and styles that promises to satisfy the tastes of every music fan, confirming the Lucca Summer Festival as one of the most prestigious events in the international music scene.
